1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Red Panda Log ("the Application", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

Red Panda Log is a community-driven web application that allows users to discover, track, and contribute information about red pandas at zoos and wildlife centres worldwide. Features include searching red pandas by location, viewing zoo profiles, saving favourites, and submitting new red panda records.

3. Account Registration & Google Sign-In

To access certain features (such as saving favourites or contributing data), you must sign in using a Google account via Google OAuth 2.0. By doing so, you:

• Confirm that you own or are authorised to use the Google account provided
• Agree to Google's Terms of Service
• Grant Red Panda Log permission to read your name, email address, and profile picture for account creation purposes only

You may revoke this access at any time via your Google account permissions.

4. User Contributions

When you submit content (e.g., red panda entries, zoo information, descriptions, or images), you agree that:

• You have the right to submit the content and it does not infringe any third-party rights
• The content is accurate and in good faith
• Your display name and avatar may appear publicly alongside your contributions
• We may display, modify, or remove your contributions at our discretion

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Application
• Use the Application for any commercial purpose without written consent
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Application's operation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, code, and branding of Red Panda Log are owned by the Application's creators. User-submitted content remains owned by the submitting user. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and modify (e.g., resizing or cropping images for display purposes) that content within the Application.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform. Use of the Application is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Panda Log and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application, including but not limited to data loss or service interruptions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Thailand.
